The experience of our team in the naval and pleasure boat sector has been acquired through years of work on board, technical work in the office, and expert interventions in the field.
During these years we have been able to face and solve the most varied technical and consultancy problems for shipowners, shipyards and insurance companies.
We are Inspectors authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport for pleasure boats surveys and CE certification on behalf of ANS (Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza) Notified Body N.B. 2405.

We operate in the naval and pleasure boats sector, with an operational base in southern and northern Sardinia, we have gained great experience and professionalism with years of activity, during boarding as Engine and Deck officers, as Naval Experts (registered in the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari and Olbia), Naval and pleasure boats designers, Inspectors appointed by the European Notified Body ANS (National Security Agency), authorized by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport for safety certifications and CE certification approval of pleasure boats.

Cap. Mauro Mameli
Graduated at Nautical Technical Institute (Machine section), after embarking as an Italian Navy petty officer, from 1995 to 2007, he carried out a series of boardings on passenger and freight ships, first as an engineer and later as Chief Engineer and Master.
Since 2008 he has been on board, as chief engineer, on various harbor tugs, for the “MOBY” Tug Division Company .
He has the following professional qualifications:
For several years he has been practicing the profession of Naval Surveyor (registered under nr. 520 of Olbia Chamber of Commerce), on behalf of insurance companies, shipowners and shipyards. He specializes in the verification of defects and osmosis detection in GRP hulls, through the use of thermal imaging cameras and professional humidity measuring instruments
He has the following professional qualifications:
- • Qualified engineer
- • Second class mechanic for motor ships
- • Boat Master for passenger traffic
- • Engine manager up to 3000 kW of engine power
- • Chief Engineer without limits for motor ships

Cap. Giulio Caruso
Graduated Nautical Technical Institute (Deck section), after embarking as an Italian Navy Officer and having taken the two-year structural engineering tests, he gained 25 years of experience in a naval engineering company dealing with:
- • Naval structural design (steel, wood and GRP)
- • Design of naval systems and fittings (fire prevention, rescue, bilge, capacity plans, etc.)
- • CE design for pleasure boat
- • Naval stability calculations according to RINA, Bureau Veritas and CE ISO 12217 regulations
- • Inclining experiments, Light weight surveys
- • Ships Stability Booklets
- • Goods, Container and Machinery Surveys on behalf of Cagliari Container Terminal
- • Naval Surveyor for insurance and shipowners (registered under nr. 465 of Cagliari Chamber of Commerce)
- • Pleasure craft Surveyor on behalf of insurances, shipyards and shipowners
- • Development of safety plans (Italian DL 271/99)
- • NES (non exclusive surveyor) RINA from 2003 to 2007
